Dragons vs. Chickens (Pick 'Em)

The Chickens have not even found their groove, yet they're still 2-0. The Dragons are playing well, their veterans are still sort-of healthy, and Aaron Rodgers is always a threat to drop a big number at any point. Much talk has been made about the Cold War battle between the Chickens and Mallards, but the Dragons pose more of a threat to the Hammer and Sickle as their quarterback play is impressive. Some forget that in this league, the QBs are our war generals and Steve's failed to recognize this as he stockpiles infantry men (WRs). In the end, unlike Kevin and Steve have neglected to put together a Tangs Preseason Postcard, this week Drew Brees puts together a Brees-ian performance of 22+ points pacing the Chickens past the Dragons in a potential post season preview.

Thugs vs. Orangutangs (Pick 'Em)

Had two of the leagues superpowers not been matched up this week, I'd argue that this game would have been the game of the week selection. The upstart Thugs, despite continuing to talk about their glory days of 2010, are as prepared as anyone to take down the defending AFC Champs.

Eaters vs. Poop (Pick 'Em)

Despite losing a key RB in Ingram, the Eaters still have enough as Bri begins to realize that it might be time for Cam Newton to get his day in the sun. Hard for many of us to swallow, but a big day for Brady these days is 220 yards passing and 2 TDs.

Buddies vs. Llamas (Pick 'Em)

Mike's been more active in the forum of late, which can only mean one thing, Steve's been forcing himself to ignore the YFFL website for fear of what's being said. Gibby, on the other hand, has chimed in every now and again to offer his two cents on things. Probably should focus more of his attention on his ball club and less on the forum banter. That is, unless Kev's still forcing him to run every lineup submission by him prior, then we can't blame you and should focus the blame only on King Joffrey Baratheon (Kevin).

Merry Men vs. Refugees (Pick 'Em)

Just as a team starts to grab your attention, they let you down and show far too many signs of weakness. Aceto's going to finally need to pull a string or two during the regular season to get this team upright again. But, like a good NFL wife/girlfriend would do following a HGH/Steroid fueled domestic dispute, I'll stand by my preseason pick one more time.

White Guys vs. Huskers (Pick 'Em)

AP leaves the lineup for who knows how long, Larry Fitz is a shell of his former self, and he's got a guy with the first name 'Larry' as a starter, things don't look so good for the White Guys. Things in Middletown, CT are pretty good right now. King Joffrey likes what he sees out of his lineup. Things would be even better at King's Landing if Ray Rice was around and not forced North of the Wall.

Mallards vs. Beans (Pick 'Em)

I just can't wait to see what Bobby will have to say when his Beans spring the upset. Unfortunately, I don't have the nerve to call for it.

Boys vs. Brothers (Pick 'Em)

Finally, Bri's Brothers get to beat down on someone. Unfortunately, he's beating down on his brother's team with the Brothers. Make sense?
