It felt appropriate to revive this thread with the news that Mean Gene Okerlund has passed...Many fond memories of watching wrestling over on Leighton road with the Kinsmans’!!
My favorite memory of Mean Gene was him telling some random guy to put out his cigarette in the middle of the post-match interview after Ric Flair won the WWF title.
