Okay, stop me if you've heard this one. One of the most storied and successful franchises in their sport is frustrated by their lack of a major championship in recent years despite boasting one of the most star-studded rosters in the league. In an effort to return to their championship glory, the owner decides he needs someone else running the team amid swirling rumors for the past few seasons.

Sound familiar? This time, there's a wrinkle - the owner just fired himself.

In an unprecedented move, owner Mike Kinsman has replaced himself and turned the reigns of the Chunky Chickens over to Nick Wood, who takes over as the first general manager in YFFL history. Wood will run the day-to-day operations of the team, including setting line-ups, making trades and running the draft, while Mike continues to preside over the franchise.

Nick inherits a team that has struggled in 2007, but picked up a win in Week 8 and still has a roster loaded with talent at every position. With YFFL legends Donovan McNabb, LaDainian Tomlinson, Terrell Owens and Antonio Gates, along with rising stars Vince Young, Philip Rivers, Marshawn Lynch and Jason Witten, can Nick erase a 3 game deficit in the NFC West in just 5 games?

He'll be put to the test immediately and Mike is sure to expect nothing less than another Super Bowl title very soon.
