Most Valuable Player

Drew Brees becomes only the second back-to-back winner of the MVP award and first since Emmitt Smith took home the honors in 1994 and 1995. After a blistering start to the season that saw him post 62 points in just 2 games, Brees fell back to earth with 2 straight zero-point performances before settling in and posting a career high 215 points to lead the Llamas to a third straight AFC East title.

Rookie of the Year

Looks like Steve's nervous breakdown on draft night was well-deserved. The Orangutangs snatched Percy Harvin away from the Mallards at the last moment and they had their first Rookie of the Year winner since Eddie George in 1996. Harvin enjoyed a top-10 WR season in his first year in the league, scoring in all but 2 games as one of the lone highlights for the O'tangs.

Macor Misa

If all it took for Miles "Girl Eyes" Austin to break out was a Mediterranean cruise, maybe Steve would have popped the question a lot sooner. Austin erupted for 22 points during Steve's honeymoon and didn't look back, posting 74 points on the season on the way to becoming the Mallards' most consistent receiver. Not bad for a buy who had only 6 points in 3 career seasons.

Owner of the Year

It took Bobby Sansone 7 division titles and 2 wild cards to reach Owner of the Year, but he finally made it in 2009 thanks to a remarkable 11-2 season from the Thugs and a rebuilt Beans team that was in the Wild Card hunt until the very end. With 17 wins and some shrewd maneuvering, Sansone was on top of his game this season.
