On any other week, 63 points including 2 TDs from three different players would probably be a cause for celebration.

The White Guys did just that in Week 5 and still suffered a 37-point blowout loss.

Behind 4 TDs from QB Russell Wilson and also RB Aaron Jones, the Huskers became just the third team in league history to eclipse the 100 point mark in a single game.

Reeling from last week's loss to the Chickens and facing the defending champions, the Huskers were in danger of having their hot start to the season nearly erased. However, Wilson delivered his third 20+ point game of the season on Thursday night and Jones did the rest on Sunday, totaling 182 all-purpose yards along with the 4 scores.

Already touting a retooled lineup from a year ago, the acquisition of Jones from the Merry Men following Week 3 is shaping up to be yet another master stroke from Huskers owner Kevin Sansone as they attempt to go worst-to-first in the NFC West.

Elsewhere around the league, the Buddies narrowing avoided a second straight loss thanks to some Sunday night heroics from Patrick Mahomes to eke out a 60-59 victory, the Mallards downed the Chickens in a match-up of NFC hopefuls, the Thugs dropped their first game of the season to the upstart Refugees, and the struggles continued for the hapless Eaters and Dragons, who are both still looking for their first win of the season.
