White Privilege

Another week, another team atop the NFC East.

After snapping a 2-game winning streak with a loss to the Thugs last week, the High 5'n White Guys rebounded by outdueling the Chickens in a rematch of their record-breaking playoff game from a year ago that saw the Chickens prevail 93-81.

A trio of unlikely events secured this 68-65 victory for the White Guys: the acquisition of Gardner Minshew on Friday to fill an empty hole at QB (Minshew scored 2 TDs and added a 2 point conversion), 6 FGs from waiver wire addition Tyler Bass, and a late excuse-me touchdown from Todd Gurley, who was trying to ice the game for the Falcons, but couldn't stop his momentum from going into the end zone.

It all added up to the White Guys' 3rd victory in the last 4 games as they try to remind everyone that they are just 1 year removed from back-to-back YFFL championships.

Elsewhere around the league, the defending champion Buddies rallied late to remain undefeated despite 5 TDs from Tom Brady, the Huskers snapped a 3-game skid with a 30-point thumping of the Dragons, the Tangs outlasted the Merry Men in a low scoring AFC showdown and the Mallards have already surpassed their loss total from 2019 as they were upset(?) by the Beans in a 79-49 blowout.
