How 'Bout Them Thugs!

So you're telling me there's a chance...

After starting the season 0-4, the Market Thugs have stormed back into playoff contention with 4 straight victories to get back to .500 and pull within a game of the AFC Wild Card.

Their latest victory was the most decisive yet as Dalvin Cook scored a career high 32 points enroute to a 67-29 drubbing of Bear Poop.

Some of the credit for this winning streak also belongs to longtime Thugs Defensive Coordinator Jim Burt, who after watching his defense give up 276 points thru the first 4 games, has surrendered just 134 in the last 4 games, including only 8 points from opposing running backs. It was that same stifling defense that gave up a league-low 475 points last season on the road to the AFC Championship Game.

With the fading Mallards on tap this week, can the Thugs continue their improbable run to another playoff berth?

Elsewhere around the league, the Buddies easily handled the Tangs to remain unbeaten in a showdown of AFC division leaders, the NFC West remains knotted in a 3-way tie as the Huskers, Chickens and Brothers all won, and the White Guys separated themselves from the pack in the NFC East with a win and a Boys loss.
