The Josh and Lamar Show

After a wild weekend of games that stretched into Tuesday, the playoff field is now set for the road to Super Bowl XXVIII.

In the AFC, the Orangutangs clinched their first division title since 2014 with a decisive 61-36 victory over the Llamas. Meanwhile, the Refugees claimed the Wild Card with a win over Bear Poop thanks to 4 touchdowns from Josh Allen in a final bid for the league MVP award. The Merry Men were left holding the bag as QB Nick Mullens and the Thugs conjured up ghosts of Week 13 past to send owner Steve Dugas packing.

Over in the NFC, Lamar Jackson sealed the deal on Tuesday night for the White Guys as they bested the Boys in a winner-take-all matchup for the NFC East crown and the Huskers limped to the finish line with a Wild Card berth despite losing their final two games and failing to top 50 points since Week 8.

That gives two playoff teams to owner Anthony Aceto, who now boasts two of the best young quarterbacks in the league. After overcoming dubious quarterback play to guide the likes of Rex Grossman, Derek Anderson and Case Keenum to YFFL championships, Aceto's teams have to be looked at as strong dark horses to topple juggernauts like the Buddies and Chickens this season.

With that said, the matchups are now set. The Refugees will take on the Orangutangs with the right to face the Buddies for the AFC Championship on the line while the White Guys and Huskers will tangle with a trip to the NFC Championship and the Chickens hanging in the balance. The final stretch to Super Bowl XXVIII starts now!
