Oh Henry!

After losing to the Orangutangs 78-73 last week, it looked like the Buddies were going to drop another heartbreaker in Week 6 despite scoring another 70+ points.

However, Derrick Henry came to the rescue late in the fourth quarter on Monday Night Football, rumbling for a 13-yard touchdown (his third of the night) to secure a 80-76 win over the Refugees in a game that went back-and-forth all night long. It marked the third game this season that Henry has scored 20+ points and his fifth straight game rushing for 100+ yards.

The Buddies have now averaged an incredible 72 points a game and boast the league's #1 scorer at QB and RB and the #2 scorer at WR and TE. It's difficult to imagine what's more remarkable - these stats or the fact that they've somehow lost 2 games this season.

On tap next week are the Huskers in a game that has been circled on the YFFL calendar since the start of the season. While the Huskers were championship favorites coming into this year, the loss of Russell Wilson to injury has put their future in doubt. Will they rise to the challenge in this possible Super Bowl preview or become just another casualty for the Buddies? We'll find out soon as the YFFL reaches the midpoint of the season.

Elsewhere around the league, Tom Brady set a new mark with 12 points on Thursday night to pass Peyton Manning as the YFFL's all-time #1 scorer but it wasn't enough to beat Matthew Stafford and the Merry Men, the Boys delivered another impressive performance to take over sole possession of the NFC East, and don't look now, but the hottest team in the league are the...[checks notes]...Llamas? They won their third straight game to move to 4-2 and remain very much in the playoff conversation despite averaging less than 40 points a game so far this season.
