What a Difference a Year Makes

After 2 weeks of the regular season, 5 teams remain unbeaten.

While nobody would be shocked to learn that the Refugees, Buddies, White Guys and Chickens are among that group, the final team is certainly raising some eyebrows.

After starting last season with 8 straight losses and finishing the year with a paltry 3 wins, the Market Thugs have nearly matched their win total from a year ago thanks to consecutive close victories to open the 2022 season.

In Week 1, the Thugs leaned on WR Justin Jefferson (18 points) but this week it was another wideout that stepped up as Christian Kirk scored twice in the early games on Sunday and the Thugs were able to lock down the victory on Monday night with 6 points from kicker Jake Elliott to break a 30-30 tie.

With the struggling Merry Men (0-2) on tap for next week, can QB Jameis Winston and the Thugs continue their hot start to the season?

Elsewhere around the league, Anthony Aceto's teams continued to dominate as the Refugees and White Guys both eclipsed the 70 point mark behind sterling performances from Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, the Brothers woke up feeling dangerous and blasted the Beans with a season-high 83 points behind a combined 9 touchdowns and double digit scoring from 4 different players, and the Orangutangs, Merry Men, Dragons, Huskers and Beans are all still looking for their first wins of the season.
