After a surprise run to a Super Bowl XXXI title, the Asian Orangutangs have kept it rolling into 2024 and are now undefeated in eight straight games dating back to last year.
After shaking off a 29-29 tie to open the season, the Tangs have put together back-to-back team efforts that have seen only three players post a zero in the past two weeks. The latest was a comeback 78-58 victory over the Llamas that saw 6 players score double-digits and was led by QB Dak Prescott with 22 late game points.
However, lurking next week are Josh Allen and the Refugees, the only remaining 3-0 team. Allen put on a master class on Monday night to lead the Refugees to a 63-22 blowout over Bear Poop and is looking like an early MVP contender enroute to what could be his fifth straight 200+ point season. The winner of that game will stake an early claim to the AFC East.
Elsewhere around the league, the Merry Men continued to fire on all cylinders with a 67-33 victory to deliver the Thugs their first loss of the year and take over first place of a hotly contested AFC West, the preseason favorite Brothers mustered enough points to snag their first win of the season, and the struggles continued for the Dragons, who fell to 0-3 and have now lost more games than they did all last season and are 0-2 in the division after going a perfect 6-0 last year.
