After a lineup controversy was called out in the Power Rankings, a fiery Brian Davidson took to the YFFL forum late on Sunday night, telling everyone to "Bring it!".
Davidson had good reason to be confident in his teams as the duo of Bear Poop and the Memphis Brothers combined for 142 points in Week 6.
Leading the way for Poop once again was QB Baker Mayfield, who continued his remarkable season with a career high 28 points. Mayfield remains the league's top scorer by a healthy margin and is an early season candidate to bring home a MVP award - something nobody saw coming heading into the 2024 season. His heroics allowed Poop to remain 2 games back in the AFC East as they look to return to their Super Bowl form from two years ago.
As for the Brothers, a rocky 0-2 start is now a distant memory as they overcame an early surge from the Dragons to win their fourth straight game in a rematch of last year's NFC Championship game. A rain of 7 late afternoon touchdowns was led by QB Jared Goff, who scored three times to post his finest game of the season thus far. With the Boys, Orangutangs and White Guys on tap over the coming weeks, the defending NFC Champs show no signs of slowing down as they continue their quest of a return to the Super Bowl to finish what they started in 2023.
Elsewhere around the league, Josh Allen rebounded from back-to-back disappointing efforts to score three times on Monday night and down the Buddies, the Merry Men steamrolled the defending champion Orangutangs 63-13 and continue to prove they're the most complete team in the league, and the Mallards fell to George Kittle and the Chickens 58-47 to tighten up the race in NFC East.
