In a wide open race for the playoffs and the MVP, the Beans and Joe Burrow staked a claim for both in Week 9.

Burrow delivered his second 30+ point performance of the season to almost single-handedly deliver a victory over the Dragons and secure the Beans' 5th straight win. The league's hottest team is now in a three-way tie at the top of the NFC West with the Brothers and Chickens.

Six years removed from their last division title, Burrow, a revitalized Kareem Hunt and breakout candidate Kyle Pitts are giving the beleaguered Beans a reason to believe in 2024. With the Boys on tap next week, the Beans will then face the Buddies, Brothers and Chickens in three of the final four weeks of the season in a true test of their mettle.

Elsewhere around the league, the Llamas upset the Merry Men and the Buddies blasted Bear Poop to tighten up the race in the AFC West, owner Anthony Aceto's Refugees and White Guys pressed their advantage at the top of the Eastern divisions with a pair of impressive performances, and the defending champion Orangutangs outlasted the Eaters to quietly slip into the AFC Wild Card position with just 5 games to go.
