A Win for White Guys Everywhere

After the dust settled on Week 13, the playoff picture is a bit clearer, but plenty will still be on the line in the final week of the season.

It was a good week for owner Anthony Aceto as the Refugees and White Guys both wrapped up division titles. The Refugees pounded Bear Poop 66-26 thanks to 4 touchdowns from QB Josh Allen (included 2 on 1 play!!). It was a return to form for Allen, who has had a "down" year by his standards. He'll need another big week to cross the 200+ point threshold for the fifth year in a row.

Meanwhile, the White Guys completed a comeback on Sunday night to end the playoff hopes for the Mallards. RB James Cook and K Tyler Bass combined for 15 points in the late game and WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine continued his incredible late season run with 2 touchdowns to give the White Guys the win and the NFC East title. It was an all-important victory for the White Guys with MVP candidate QB Lamar Jackson on bye next week along with his backup QB Drake Maye.

Elsewhere around the league, the Buddies and Merry Men both clinched playoff spots but remain deadlocked in the race for the AFC West crown. Plus, only 26 points separate the Refugees, Buddies and Merry Men in the race for the vital playoff bye. Over in the NFC West, the Chickens downed the Brothers in a pivotal match-up and all but wrapped up the division and the NFC bye thanks to a wide point differential. They will take on the Beans and the Brothers will battle the surging Huskers with the NFC Wild Card on the line.

The final week of the 2024 YFFL season is here!
