After bursting onto the scene late in his rookie season to help the Orangutangs capture the 2023 Super Bowl, WR Rashee Rice looked poised for stardom early in his sophomore campaign, averaging 96 yards per game and scoring twice in his first three contests. But a season-ending injury and off-field troubles sidelined him for 15 games starting in Week 4 of 2024.

Rice finally returned in Week 7 and wasted no time making an impact, finding the end zone twice in his comeback. His spark ignited the entire Tangs offense: QB Dak Prescott threw three touchdowns, TE Trey McBride scored twice, and RB Jahmyr Gibbs dazzled on Monday night with two touchdowns of his own. The result was a 83-30 thrashing of the Merry Men, as the Tangs topped 80 points for just the fourth time in franchise history.

They'll look to stay hot in Week 8 despite a lineup hampered by byes, as they chase the first-place Llamas in the AFC East, who saw their four-game winning streak snapped.

Elsewhere around the league, the Dragons continued to clawed back from an 0-4 start with their third straight win, QB Matthew Stafford and the Beans pulled off a surprise upset over the Mallards, and the Brothers' combo of QB Jared Goff and WR Amon-Ra St. Brown delivered another clutch Monday night victory. With all eight NFC teams sitting at either 3 or 4 wins at the midpoint of the season, the race for playoff spots is wide open.
