With only three games left in the 2025 regular season and divisional matchups returning to the schedule, the playoff picture remains wide open in the YFFL. Every win matters, every loss stings, and nearly every team still has something meaningful on the line as the race to December heats up.

In the AFC East, the resurgent Refugees rode a career-high 40 points from defending MVP Josh Allen to move into a three-way tie at 6-5. The Orangutangs came up just short in their Monday night rally attempt, while the Llamas snapped a four game losing streak and are trying to recreate the spark that carried them to a 5-1 start. With all three teams bunched together, the final stretch promises plenty of drama.

The AFC West continues to be a two team showdown. The Buddies and the defending champion Merry Men have separated from the pack and are closing in on playoff berths, but both the division title and the coveted first round bye remain unsettled. The two heavyweights meet this week in a marquee matchup that could shape the AFC playoff matchups.

Things are just as wild in the NFC East. The Mallards and the Boys have dealt with brutal luck all season as opponents keep piling up points against them. That misfortune has given the White Guys an opening, and they have taken full advantage. Second year QB Drake Maye has seized control of the offense and pushed the White Guys into first place. The question now is simple: can he guide them to a second straight division crown?

The NFC West delivered a shakeup of its own in Week 11. The Brothers fell to the Merry Men in a Super Bowl rematch that might also double as a preview, while the Huskers came out flat against the Buddies and suffered a pair of costly injuries. Add in the Chickens win over the Orangutangs and the division suddenly finds itself locked in a three way tie at 6-5 heading into the most important stretch of the season.

With three weeks to go, nothing is settled. Rivalries will flare, playoff hopes will rise and fall, and a few teams will undoubtedly author the kind of late season surges that make the YFFL unforgettable every year. The final stretch starts now.
