Heading into Week 13, the YFFL playoff picture was still murky and full of possibilities. Several divisions remained up for grabs, tiebreakers loomed large, and a handful of teams were clinging to postseason hopes. One week later, the landscape looks far more defined as the regular season enters its final stretch.

In the AFC, the Orangutangs all but sealed the Eastern division with a commanding 56-21 win over the Llamas. That victory gave them a one game lead and a hefty 75 point advantage over the Refugees in the points column, putting them in prime position to claim their first division crown since 2020. Out West, the Buddies became the first and only team to reach double digit victories. That milestone officially locked up the division title and secured a first round bye. The defending champion Merry Men also punched their postseason ticket by outlasting the Eaters 68 to 51, clinching a Wild Card berth as they attempt to defend last year's title run.

Over in the NFC, the White Guys continue to maintain a narrow edge in the East. Rookie quarterback Drake Maye delivered a crucial Monday night win over the Mallards to keep them on top. They can close out the division with a victory in Week 14. However, a loss combined with the large point differential between them and the Mallards could leave the door open for the Mallards to swoop in and steal the division at the wire. In the West, the Brothers strengthened their position with another win and have now secured a playoff berth. The Huskers, on the other hand, suffered a costly stumble with a 17 point outing that has put their postseason hopes at risk. Their fate now hinges on a Week 14 showdown with the Brothers that could make or break their season.

With only one week remaining, teams across the league are either sharpening their playoff form or fighting desperately to stay alive. As the regular season concludes and the march toward Super Bowl XXXIII begins, every point and every play will matter.
