POWER RANKINGS - WEEK 14, 2013
Week
Year

1

Chickens 10-3

The best team is also the most healthy as we enter the playoffs. Chickens are prohibitive favorite as they look to defend their title.

2

Huskers 10-3

Huskers had to sweat it out a little but they won the wild card and after back to back weeks scoring over 65 points they look like they are back on track.

3

Brothers 9-4

Brothers saw their 5 game winning streak snapped in their most important game of the year. Still a stellar year but ends in frustration. Eddie Lacey is runaway Rookie of the Year. Brothers will likely be looking at landing a QB to groom for the future in the first round.

4

1
Buddies 8-5

With Manning having a career year and Justin Tucker scoring at will, it won't take much of a contribution from anyone else in the lineup as the Buddies cruise to an all Mike showdown in the Super Bowl.

5

2
Orangutangs 7-6

The Orangutangs snapped the Refugees 5 game winning streak with Eric Decker having a game for the ages. With the Cowboys getting the Bears on MNF the 'Tangs should advance easily.

6

2
White Guys 8-5

Righted the ship and just in time. Can Alex Smith win a YFFL playoff game? After being in the league for 9 years he'll finally get his first shot.

7

1
Merry Men 7-6

Limping into the playoffs bruised and battered, but winners of 6 of their last 8. Stafford, Thomas, and Gostowski will give them a punchers chance at returning to the AFC Championship game to face the rival Buddies.

8

2
Eaters 6-7

Looks like they have finally found a QB to build around in Foles. The two first rounders in 2014 could have this team in the playoffs next season.

9

5
Dragons 7-5-1

Stomach punch loss to rival Mallards has this team doing some soul searching. Leagues oldest team can't afford to being missing opportunities to make the playoffs. Will be interesting to see if they try and reload for another title run or rebuild while Rodgers is still young enough to see it through.

10

1
Mallards 5-8

Week 13 was about the only thing that went right in 2013. Win over the Dragons only dropped Mallards one spot in the draft while improving their pick from the Dragons by as much as 7 slots. A healthy starting lineup and armed with the #5 and #9 picks, the Mallards will look to rebound in 2014.

11

2
Refugees 6-7

The Magic in Frosty's hat ran out and the Refugees were left out in the cold. Word on Wall St is that Aceto has hired a team of 5 analysts to figure out what he needs to do to get this team off to a faster start. #6 pick in the draft should net this team an impact player to insert into the starting lineup.

12

2
Llamas 6-7

Llamas 69 point explosion in week 13 did them no favors as they dropped from 6 to 8 in the draft. No matter what this team does they finish with 6 or 7 wins. With the needs of the teams ahead of them in the draft the Llamas should still be able to grab one of the elite QB prospects.

13

1
Poop 4-9

A difficult season finally comes to a close. This roster has what it takes to vault back to the top of the division in 2014. The #3 pick should yield a player who should slide right into the starting lineup.

14

1
Boys 4-8-1

This might be the least talented team in the league. Andy Dalton is not the answer at QB and Eli Manning's level of play leaves this team in a tough spot. Draft the top QB available in next years draft or do the Boys find someone other than AJ Green to insert into the lineup to make opponents nervous.

15

Beans 3-10

RGIII has the Beans wondering if he will be the long term QB. Sansone will be giving a long look at the top players in the draft next and might decide QB is the best route to go. Alshon Jeffery has cemented his status as a Dynasty top 10 WR.

16

Thugs 3-10

Hopefully for the Thugs, Andrew Luck gets a competent OC next season. With Mike Floyd asserting himself as the top WR on the team and a healthy Arian Foster back next year this team could improve by 3-4 wins in 2014.
